There shouldn't be any rescue plan. I understand that we will be worse off if we don't, and I'll be forced to take this one on the chin - like all US tax payers who don't get to vote on this!

There is no way I agree with the government bailing out this whole mtg mess! Greedy people - they can use what ever excuse they want - it was greed.

Mr. Russert was the greatest interviewer - he was always perpared, knew his guests and their stance on subjects and he brought politics to the American people in terms we could all understand and relate too. He was warm, charming, friendly, and sincere.

The coverage of the Presidental election just won't be the same without Mr. Russert. He had a way of bringing political talk to the American people. We've lost an icon. My prayers to his wife and son.
